The EGL SERIES does not require external cooling or ventilation as the LED panel exhausts far less heat than HPS counterparts which can be used all year round. In very hot climates you may need to add a fan to keep the unit within its operation temperature of 40 degress centigrade. The LED panel fascia is waterproof rated of IP65 which is covered by a very fine silicone protective film. Power Draw is 440 watts at full power and has a total luminous flux of 75514 lumens.
