In a standard reflector the lamp is mounted horizontally with the light and heat being directed downwards to the area directly beneath the reflector. With a Parabolic, the lamp is mounted vertically allowing heat to be directed away from the plants. This means that when large areas of soil are being covered, the plants are under less heat stress.

It also means that the soil stays fresher for longer and reduces the chance of a nutrient imbalance in the later life of the plant. This light kit comes complete with: Maxibright wide angle umbrella shape reflector. These reflectors are best suited for growing in tents or environments with reflective walls. The reflector is powder coated in high gloss white and the lamp is fitted in a vertical burning position which reduces heat spots allowing the lamp to be hung closer to the plants.

The unit is supplied flat packed and is easy to assemble and fully wired. 1000mm diameter Maxibright Premium Quality 400 Watt Ballast, using the latest Venture control gear featuring matched timed digital igniter, the new Maxibright Megalight Ballast is built to all current CE standards. Lumii Magnetic Ballast 600w Ballast range is a High-end ballast and is far superior to the generally unreliable Chinese HID control gear that are currently widely available on the UK market today.

Sunmaster Dual Spectrum 600 Watt Lamp, a very popular all round lamp that offers improved spectrum but also retains its high lumen output. The improved spectrum and extra levels of blue and red light make it excellent for vegetative or flowering growth. This improved metabolic function (Chlorosynthesis, photosynthesis, etc) giving good health and a green colour.

The large levels of yellow / orange inherent in the high pressure lamp ensures the plants gets lots of energy through photosynthesis for vigorous growth and high yields.
